Ginger Berry Kombucha Smoothie

Serves 2

5 Minutes Prep Time

Is it just us, or did spring happen overnight? Summer seems to be quickly following in its footsteps with record breaking temperatures this Saturday in Asheville. Luckily, we’ve got just the thing to keep you hydrated, cool, and feeling great — our ginger berry kombucha smoothie!

This smoothie recipe combines the antioxidant power of blueberries with the digestive and immune boosting properties of kombucha for a super-powered smoothie that is cool, creamy, delicious and nutritious. All you need are four basic ingredients and 2 minutes!

  • Frozen blueberries are rich in antioxidants.
  • Frozen bananas give this smoothie a rich and creamy texture, and are naturally sweet.
  • Kombucha in any smoothie is a great way to add probiotics and digestive enzymes into your diet. We like either Kombucha Fire or Water for this recipe!
  • Fresh ginger livens up this smoothie and is rich in antioxidants.

Method

  1. Add all the ingredients of your choosing into a blender. Kombucha Water would provide a fruitier flavor, while Fire would lean more ginger heavy.

  2. Blend until smooth.

  3. Enjoy!
